For three days, the city of Pazardzhik was filled with a festive atmosphere — music, dance, tradition, and the warmth of the people.
I had the pleasure of collaborating with dancer Hisako Horikawa at the opening event of the art gallery.
Most of my performance was improvised, as I responded through music to the characters she wrote in the moment, the movement of her brush, and the atmosphere around us.
It was a beautiful moment where sound, ink, silence, and voice crossed paths.In the main square, I was also grateful to witness many events and ceremonies, including the presence of the President of Bulgaria, priests, the military, brass bands, dancers, choirs, and performers from different regions.
It was a great joy and honor to take part in this celebration, surrounded by Bulgarian culture and the energy of its people.
With heartfelt gratitude for these unforgettable three days in Pazardzhik.

三日間パザルジクの街は祝祭の空気に包まれました。
音楽、踊り、伝統、そして人々の温かさで連日賑わいました。
私はアートギャラリーのオープニングイベントで、ダンサーの堀川久子さんとコラボレーションさせていただきました。
演奏はほとんど即興で、久子さんがその場で書く文字、筆の動き、空気の変化に呼応しながら音を紡ぎました。
音、墨、沈黙、そして声が交差する、とても美しい時間でした。
また広場では、ブルガリア大統領、司祭、軍隊、音楽隊をはじめ、各地から集まった踊りや合唱など、さまざまな催しに立ち会うことができました。
ブルガリアの文化と人々のエネルギーに包まれたこの祝祭に参加できたことを、とても嬉しく、光栄に思います。
パザルジクで過ごした忘れがたい三日間に、心から感謝します。
