Film Scoring Academy of Europe大学院の学生向けにオンラインレクチャーを行いました！
I gave an online lecture for students at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe
I talked about my three years as a freelance composer after FSAE—projects in film, games, concerts, lectures, and library music,finding my own voice between Japanese music, jazz, and orchestral writing,and how I’ve used SNS and networking to turn those into real jobs.I also shared some of the things that keep me going as a freelancer,like Vipassana meditation and running.I went over time and probably digressed a bit but some students messaged me afterwards sayingit gave them hints for their own career, which made me really happy.Thank you so much to all the students who joined and to everyone at FSAE.I hope something from today will support your future projects and your path ahead
フリーランスの作曲家として映画・ゲーム・コンサート・レクチャー・ライブラリ音楽など、どのようにプロジェクトを重ねてきたか。日本の音楽的な感性・ジャズ・オーケストレーションのあいだで「自分の声」を見つけてきたプロセスや、SNSやネットワーク作りを仕事に繋げた具体例などをお話ししました。また、活動を続けるためのヴィパッサナー瞑想やランニングといったメンタル＆フィジカルの支えについても触れました。時間オーバー＆少し脱線もしましたが、終了後に何人かの学生が「自分のキャリアのヒントになった」とメッセージをくれたのが何より嬉しかったです。オンラインで参加してくれた学生のみなさん、この機会をくださったFSAE、本当にありがとうございました。今日のレクチャーの中から、これからのFSAEでのプロジェクトや、その先のキャリアに少しでも役立つヒントが残っていたら嬉しいです。
そして、どうかそれぞれが 軽やかに自分を超えていくようなプロジェクトをFSAEから生み出していってくれたらと願っています。
